Further to his participation in the 69th edition of Jeune Création in 2020, Marcos Uriondo was awarded the independent Prize of Galerie du Haut Pavé which is hosting his first solo exhibition in this historic place dedicated to the discovery of young contemporary artists.
As art critic Lena Peyrard points out in the text that accompanies the show, Marcos Uriondo transforms the walls of the gallery into a playground by connecting language with a corpus of paintings, sculptures and transfigured domestic objects. The exhibition that I would have liked to make outlines with humor and not too literally the implicit portrait of the artist and the conditions in which his work took shape.
