Conceived as a reflection about the place of art in everyday life and about everyday life as one of the conditions of creation, the exhibition "Curiosités Vagabondes" is set up in the arTsenal and in the common spaces of the city of Dreux. Getting away from a discursive approach, the exhibition is constructed as a multitude of surprises, questions and hazardous encounters.
The works shown in "Curiosités Vagabondes" take everyday life as their starting point: objects that we use every day without really seeing them, situations so insignificant that they are indifferent to us. Because beyond its apparent banality, it is this everyday life and what it contains of marvels and surprises, often hidden, that inspired the 17 artists in this exhibition.
